Kerryn Wise is the Performance and Choreographic lead and co-founder of Displace Studio. Kerryn is a dance artist, performer and researcher, exploring the intersection of dance, film, theatre and digital technologies. She is a QuestLab Digital Dance alumni at Studio Wayne McGregor and a Studio member at Broadway’s Arts and Technology Studio Near Now. Kerryn has been creating performance work for over 20 years and has shown her work at festivals and theatres nationally and internationally. She is a Senior Lecturer in Performing Arts at De Montfort University (DMU), Leicester and a freelance digital dance artist and producer.
Ben Neal is the Creative Technology lead and co-founder of Displace Studio. Ben is an Arts-focussed creative technologist, digital artist, programmer, games/gadget builder and educator with over 20 years of experience. His work often uses audio-visual and digital technology to create interactive art, bespoke electronic devices, musical instruments and immersive content such as Virtual / Augmented Reality. His work has been seen at the V&A, Somerset House and the Open Data Institute, and at festivals such as Sonar (ES), Fierce, Supersonic, Flatpack, FIVARS (US) and London Design Festival. Previous collaborators include Rachel Maclean, Abandon Normal Devices, MotionHouse and Blast Theory.
