The workshop explores 3d mark making in virtual reality using a collaborative platform called Shapes XR. It stems from research that Ravin and Ben have been conducting in partnership with Sheldon Chow and Andy Lee at University of the Arts London. The research explores the use of virtual reality as a collaborative design tool, embodied by movement and participation. During the workshop, attendees will be invited to put on headsets and join the virtual space, co-creating an artefact or series of artefacts. This will be preceded by a short talk, and introduction to the research.
