Anti-Body

Uncharted Limbo Collective
Step into the world of Anti-Body, Alexander Whitley's and Uncharted Limbo's original three-dancer show, re-interpreted as an immersive playground for two. This interactive experience combines the algorithms used in the Sadlers Wells performance with real-time motion tracking, giving you the chance to play with the same tools Alexander's dancers used. For a few minutes, you become the artist and the art. As you navigate the multi-layered visuals, we invite you to think about the future of human-technology symbiosis. What happens when our bodies go digital? Where does ""you"" end and the technology begin? Now, grab a friend, and dance! Do you control the machine? Or does it control you?

Uncharted Limbo Collective

Uncharted Limbo is a London & Athens-based collective of creative coders and visual artists. They craft cutting-edge New Media experiences at the intersection of code, interactive visuals, and performing arts. Drawing inspiration from the complexity of natural phenomena and human movement, the collective collaborates with choreographers, directors, composers, and scientists to create digital artworks across various scales. The core team — George Adamopoulos, Eleana Polychronaki, and Chris Waters — combines expertise in Architecture, Computational Design, Software Development, and VFX. They weave visual storytelling with the latest advances in computational geometry, real-time simulation, motion capture, machine learning, and game technology. Their work manifests as holographic projections for live performance, digital films, VR experiences, interactive exhibits, 360 dome projections, and computationally designed sculptures. They have been featured in prestigious institutions and festivals worldwide, including BFI Film Festival, London College of Fashion, Sadler's Wells Theatre, Victoria & Albert Museum, SAT Montreal and the Arte European Culture TV channel. Recipients of the S+T+ARTS AIR European grant, they explore the nexus of Performing Arts and AI. In 2024, they won the Grand Prix for Digital Craft at Cannes Lions for Spreadbeats — a music video coded and experienced entirely in Excel.
